There is a massive seatbelt shaped bruise on my right boob from the accident on Thursday. I knew I was sore there, but there wasn't a mark on me until last night. It's darker today. I wonder how long it will last for.
I've finally started really getting into the courses for this semester (My semester started 1st of November, so I'm not two months behind!). Distraction is good. The scene of the accident keeps playing again and again in my brain.
Tonight, Chris and Brad are making ravioli for supper - from scratch! I've never had homemade pasta before, so it should be very interesting. They do lots of the cooking now, it's something they do together that relaxes them. I'm not going to complain, becuase they're very good at it!
Jos and I are going to go return the rental car, and then head to wal-mart for a few to pick up some more high lighters, and some more pens. I got all stocked up on pencils from math last semester, but I do not have many pens that work too well, save the one that I was lucky to find.
Tomorrow I have physio at 9, then to see a doctor at wcb at 1 or 1:30. I'm lucky that the accident did not cause any more damage/pain to my lumbar spine. After that, I do believe we are gaming (DnD FTW!) and beyond then, I'm not sure what's going on.
I really want to go back to work. I mean, the downtime is nice, especially since it would have been hell to car-shop and do everything that's gone on due to it, but at the same time, were I at work on Thursday, I would not have gotten into the accident. I guess it's the fates saying that we needed a new car. It's really hard to stop thinking about it.
I forgot to mention, I think, that I went to see my sister's new house yesterday. She's renting a property in Chestermere from my Aunt, and it's really quite nice. There's enough space for a little boy to grow up, and I won't have to worry about her living situation while she's on mat leave. She's due to give birth on January 12th, but my gut says it'll be closer to the beginning of January.
