I have to work at 5 :( Oh well, I'm closing with Jagdeep, and she's a sweetheart, and we'll have fun :D
Went to the library this morning. Well, actually, to the bank first to deposit the cheque for my text book refund. Then, I walked the 40 mins to the library, because it would have been a 40 minute wait for the next 23 bus which comes once an hour only. Plus, walking is good :) Except it was real boring. If only I could find my discman...
At the library, I went in, and found the Calgary Sun from 25 June so that I could photocopy the Goo Goo Dolls article in there. I found the newspaper fine, but the photocopier was broken. I used my persuasive powers on the librarian, and convinced her that if I gave her my photo ID that I could take the newspaper to the post office in the co-op next door. It worked, I have the article, and I'm happy now :D one more thing to go into the scrapbook.
At the library, I got 4 books. I think I'm going to make that my limit, because I always lose them, and I end up paying lots in fines (like the $28.15 I paid today) Anyways, I got "ITSUKA" by Joy Kogawa, "BUTTERFLY SUNDAY" by David Hill, "BORROWED LIGHT" by Anna Feinberg, and "SHADOW PEOPLE" by Joyce McDonald". I had never heard of any of the authors before, nor the books, I just grabbed ones that interested me by the cover.
So, now I'm here. I was playing my trumpet, but now I'm just listening to Goo. I'll write again later, maybe...
