I have been...

A very busy Chandi.
The end of February marked the end of two of my courses, Abnormal Psychology, and Sound and Sense, which was a music course. I did very well on my AP exam, 86%. I'm still waiting for the mark for my term paper. For the music class, I got 83 and 88% on the two papers, and I'm waiting for the exam mark.
After exams, quite literally the day after I submitted the last paper, I ended up super sick. My highest fever was 39.1, and I felt terrible. After a few days I recognized that my sore throat wasn't getting better, so I went to the doctor, and he diagnosed me with strep again. I had strep not long ago, and so I think the stress of the exams/papers being due helped the strep grow back again. I didn't finish my antibiotics last time (I know, bad!) so this time I'm going to be sure to.
I've noticed a pattern, at the end of classes, I'm stupidly stressed. In fact, I'm stressed all the time. I try my best to deal with it, but at this point, I talked with Jos, and decided that I'm in over my head right now. I spoke with my boss, and so we've reduced the number of hours I work in a two-week period on a trial basis. we'll see if it helps, who knows. I can see how it affects our budget, and see how it affects me. I can always pick up through the summer if I want to, others will go on holidays too. Besides, what's the point of working more than I have to while I'm getting my degree?
I did the math, btw, once school is done in April, I'll be 40% done this degree :D
Today Josie and I went to the new mall that's just north of our city. We were on a croc acquiring mission - Josie required a pair for her feet, and because it's spring, it was croc getting time. We walked around, checked out a few stores, and spent some time in guitarworks. I love that store. I got some new picks (I'm always losing them), and I got a hand exerciser. My left hand is still weak from the carpal tunnel surgery/recovery. I can't reliably finger bar chords on my acoustic.
After that, we came across crocs, bought a cute white pair for her, and then went to get lunch. Josie had sushi (ew), and I had this delicious Thai dish. I ordered it spicy, and it actually was spicy! I didn't need to add hot sauce. It was great. The portion was huge, so I packed about half of it to go. I also tried tofu for the first time in it, but I didn't like it. I tried a couple cubes just to make sure. After we had our lunches, we shared a dish of blueberry cheesecake ice cream, and then drove home. Josie read my Health Studies text to me on the way home.
Shortly after we got home, we went for a snooze. I slept for about an hour, and Jos was with me cuddling me. It was awesome. I woke up happy, rested, and warm. Brad and Chris had made a chicken salad with lots of onion in it for supper, and I really enjoyed that on some very fresh cheese-buns. When we finished supper, the 5 of us cleaned up, and now the house is clean because the Dungeons and Dragons group is coming by tomorrow. It'll be fun, we haven't played in a few weeks. My character is after the Cloak of Arachnidia (or something like it) which has the SpiderClimb spell on it, constantly. We have to kill or harm an evil cleric in order to acquire it. We have a plan, I hope it works. The drawback is that my character uses fire in her spells, and although it's a magical item, it can take damage like any other item. I'm relying heavily on the two rogues in the party.
Anyway, today was a wonderful day. Jos and I had fun out and about, and things got accomplished. After we cleaned, I learned the tricky part to "Give a Little Bit" by Supertramp on my guitar, and I found and emailed an article to my prof to ensure it meets requirements for the assignment I have due by the end of this week. I'm sipping at a black russian, and have a delicious buzz, and watching a show on Discovery Health.
Life is good right now. It really is.
