Lonely, and for the first time in a long time, sick of it.

Not that I'm going to out looking for someone just to be hanging off of his arm, but I would like a relationship, and well, for it to mean something. That's not too much to ask...

Being out of high school is weird. You have a group of friends, and then it's like, bam, you are all in different directions. Many of my friends go to UofC, one goes to SAIT, many others don't go to post secondary yet (me, me!!!) but plan to eventually (one more year off to upgrade and save) and are just working... The last time I saw a friend in person was... when we went to see "How to lose a guy in 10 days" with Fiona and Andrew and Steph... and that was months ago.

I kind of dont' mind being the anti-social-stays-in-room-and-chats-to-people-while-studying-like-a-good-girl person, but it gets old...

Oh yeah. Something's wrong my my car's transmission. whatever that is. My dad called me at work, and the conversation went something like this.

"Good morning, pocket dawg"
"Chandra? that you?"
"yeah" *oh great, what's wrong now*
"I know what's wrong with your car"
"Mmm?"
"Well, the spedometer is fixed, it was just a loose wire"
"That's good" *Maybe this isn't so bad*
"But I have bad news. What we thought was the fuel injector was actually the transmssion disconnecting...." blah blah. Dad talks about things like oil and tranny fluid and a cracked something leaking.
"Oh. That sucks."
"Yeah. But it could be worse"
"I guess"
"So, what I think you should do it fill her up with tranny fluid each time you drive, until monday, when we'll take her to a mechanic" I have dad calling my car "her" and "Gabby" too.
"I guess. How will I get to work monday?"
"I'll taxi you. It should be done monday or tuesday."
"I need it for wednesday, I have a shift in emerg"
"oh, that's right."
"Ok. well, thanks."
"I'llsee you at home"

So yeah. Car not working too good. It also needs a winshild fluid pump thing to be put in/fixed. whee fun!!

5 people came to my door. they said:

"Hi, we're from a youth group, and we're playing a game. We were wondering if you guys have anything that is bigger and better than this."

A boy held up this huge wicker wine holder.

I burst out laughing, went to look for something, but couldn't find anything...

Lots to say today.

I'm thinking of starting a mailbox. One outside my bedroom door, and my entire family will be asked to put any mail addressed to me inside.

Today's event:

I think to myself at work "I haven't had a cell phone bill for a long time"

Hours later, I go home. I say to my sister: "Maybe the cell phone people forgot to charge me"

Sister replies "oh, no no. There are two bills on the ledge there"

My jaw drops and I say what the hell?

Sure enough, two unpaid, overdue cell phone bills are sitting there, unopened, unseen by me under a pile of junk mail.
