I have to admit. Don't laugh... but I have to admit I'm really digging Avril Lavigne's music. It's peppy, and upbeat.
Chem started... It's fairly easy so far, but I've only tecnhically been in it for a day... I am NOT looking forward to balancing equasions... That's something in grade 10, the last time I took chem that I couldn't do. I sort of flunked the chem unit of science ten (Made up of three units- Bio, Physics, and Chem) but I aced bio, and did fairly well in physics, so I did pass the course and get my credits.
I think I managed to tell mum that I DONT" want to go out with her on my 18th birthday, and that we can go out together some other time... and I think I did it without hurting her feelings too bad.
I think I know what I want for my birthday. The Kenneth Branagh version of "Hamlet" on VHS (four hours, and uncut!) and stuff that'll help me when I go to move out. Things like dishes, pots, shelves, tables, etc. I want to move out before my second year at SAIT.
I want a car by February. To be liscenced, and to never have to take Calgary Transit until my car breaks down, or until I go downtown, because downtown driving is NO fun. I have a fair sized paycheque coming, so I think I will sign up for drivers ed. either this cheque, or next cheque. I have to go and see Zach about paying him back for band tour last school year, and then I have to pay rent.
My mum is thinking about raising my rent because I make more money than she does. I see no sense in that. I pay $200 per month. That is 1/4 of the mortgage payment, and I am 1/4th of the people living there. I know that doesn't cover food or anything, but half the time I'm at work, or with friends, so we eat out. *sigh* How am I supposed to save money for SAIT, for moving out, for a car, drivers ed, insurance, and plates when I'm going to be paying her more rent? Food for thought...
I HAVE TOMORROW OFF!!! WHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Of course, all I get to do is study, but my thoughts are... maybe Kristy's off, and we can go downtown to Rideau and she can spend money, and I can do to St. John's and get a new mouthpiece for my Trombone. But I think I should just study, and Kristy works two jobs, so chances are that she's not going to be off tomorrow...
More later. i dont' like updating this thing with many people around...
