amigone2515Today was one of those days...
I got to work, and I saw a note from an employee that said "The ice cream machine floods whenever I draw a cone. I mopped the floor, but it just kept coming. See you tonight" So, I went and turned the machine on. Sure enough, water came at me. So, I shut it off, mopped, and got to doing my other tasks. I looked out front where the machine is, and was like "what?!" because about 20 minutes later, there was even more water on the floor. I was SO annoyed, so I mopped it up, and move the ice cream machine to look at the drain. I messed around with the sinks a little, and realized that the drain itselt was plugged, that it wasn't a kink in the ice cream hose, and that I couldn't fix it. So, I called maintenance, and they got some guy to come and snake the drain. I was pleased. I could use my sinks again.
Then, during our lunch rush, the ice cream machine froze up. I was NOT happy. So, I had to let it warm up, and it started to work again.
Then, the breaker for the steamer kept going. I couldn't get any of the meat cooked.
Then, we get a memo stating that the mall is infested with water beatles who are attracted from the dried up marsh across the street to our flourescent lights, and that the orkin man is on it.
Then, Candace came, I cheered loudly and left as soon as I could.
Chances are, the store will close. We're barely making three hundred per day. It's quite depressing.
